Who are we?

We are a community of believers dedicated to loving God, loving people, and making disciples.  We are a church dedicated to doing life together, working to rid our community of isolation, and spreading the name of Jesus.

CrossWalk is committed to being the move of God in our community.  We believe we can do this by following our "Be" statements:

1. Believebe in relationship with Jesus - Romans 10:9

2. Belongbe in community with others - Hebrews 10:24-25

3. Becomebe in process of becoming like Jesus - 2 Corinthians 3:18

4. Be Realbe intentional to represent Jesus - Galatians 2:20

5. Be the Movebe actively reaching others for Jesus - 1 Peter 3:15-16

Statement of Beliefs

The basis of our belief is the Bible.  The entirety of scripture, in its 66 books of the Old and New Testament, are inerrant and God-breathed.

We believe in the eternally existent Holy Trinity, the Triune God, consisting of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ was the Son of God, born unto a virgin, and both fully human and fully God. We believe Jesus Christ walked among us, living a life of perfect obedience, teaching us and ministering to us. We believe Jesus Christ was sentenced and crucified, dying for the sins of all mankind.  We believe he was placed in a tomb, overcoming death and rising three days later. We believe that Christ will come again, and that those dead in Him and abiding in Him will be risen up.

Salvation is wholly a work of God’s free grace, received by repentance and faith. Each person can be made new in Christ by the Holy Spirit and thereafter continuously grow in the knowledge of God.

We believe that Jesus ordained two sacraments for the church to observe: Communion and Water Baptism.  Believers that understand the significance of the sacraments and believe upon the Lord as their savior are welcome to participate in them.  Those who do not believe or understand should first pray and seek wisdom regarding these sacraments before participating.
